Prof. Dr. Reinhard F. Werner

I am a theoretical/mathematical physicist, heading the Institute for Mathematical Physics in the Physics Department of the Technical University of Braunschweig.

My research interests are the conceptual and mathematical foundations of quantum theory, including quantum statistical mechanics. More recently, I have become interested in Quantum Information theory, which will also be one of the main research topics in the Institute for Mathematical Physics in the near future.
